How to convince my mom she needs to stop smoking?

My mother smoked for a very long time, and I can not convince her to leave. I tried to give the facts and statistics about smoking and disease and how she threatened me and when I try to talk to her about what she says: "Do not worry about that." And then, if I try to take over the conversation, she screams. All I said was: "It's very difficult to stop." But she never tried before. I'm tired of breathing smoke all the time, I'm tired of not being able to have more friends because they have headaches when they are in my house (many have told me) and I'm tired of sitting here watching my mother suck cancer sticks wasting your life, and threatens me and everyone else. She simply refuses to smoke outside, and air fresheners are not an option. (They're too expensive) We are not doing well financially, and ignores the fact that this is where all the money goes. Please help me. Thanks for all the answers already and I have her facts and such, but it just pushes me away and will not listen to me in everything I tried to convince her to tears, but they have finished their cigarettes more worried. All I ask is for them to try, and she is not at all. She did not stop when she was pregnant with me or my brother, and they almost lost me because I was born too early, but not yet tried it. It is a fact that passive smoking kills. Tell her to check out some information and evidence, and tell her if she loves you enough she will at least try to stop, so it does not kill you, or anyone else. It can not work at first, but keep tormenting them, and hopefully it will. Good luck! She is right when she sais that it is too hard to stop, but she must respect others' health and smoking outside, or if they do not want to do it, so it might be a room in the house where she smokes with the door closed. M Maybe you can convince to buy the patch, I know many people who stopped in the east and not too expensive, not like the pills you receive from your doctor that you quit.someday. My goal as a parent, you probably will be too late. the damage was done. I lost my mother seven years ago of lung cancer cancer.a slow sharply to see someone die. especially her mother. Ask her if she wants to be alive to see their grandchildren. Tell him you do not want to deal with the anguish of losing smoking. You really have to open it, do not be afraid to mourn over it and be honest with yourself and her. Do you realize its a very difficult addiction to break and sometimes you need a wake up call to get someone to stop smoking. My father smoked more than 35 years and was in fact a visit to the emergency room he suddenly quit. My husband has been smoking for over 10 years and it was not until the birth of our daughter, too, quit abruptly.
