How do you convince someone to stop smoking?

My friend wants to stop, but he wants me to and I'm not sure how to help. Show him pictures of what happens to people who smoke. (Yellow teeth, black lungs, etc.) you can not support his decision. Encourage him to continue to try to stop, although he feels a desperate smoke. You can not convince someone to stop smoking. It's a decision they must make for themselves. tell them they will go to hell. Go to him and tell him if he would help him kosher, no matter how sour it must obviously be based on smoking. If you spend much time with him when you see smoke, take it out of his mouth and off. if you see it and it smells like smoke, ask him for cigarettes and destroy it (put it in water, they are tearing it does not matter) to this problem in a conversation about the weather and hopefully help you. From personal experience, there is no such thing as "Exit" either you smoke or not. The hardest part, not having cigarettes is that months after discontinuation available Good luck with the guilt. I went through the same ordeal. In my pack of cigarettes was a letter with some words in them: "Parents, children, my wife." It forces me to put the package in his pocket. E 'was difficult and sometimes I almost smoked and finally succumbed to my pressures. And it was disgusting. After I managed to quit smoking. Hope that helps. They have many clinics to stop smoking, you can go or you can use the nicotine patch. Since many costs are subsidized by the time they won the lawsuit against tobacco companies to help you quit smoking. Well, I still hate the idea of smoke when I smoke my enemy me.ewwww photo. You can not convince someone to quit smoking is for them, but once you start, you can certainly help with confidence, even small gifts from time to time have said how much you care, but not close the first time. Good luck, you can not convince, but you can support this is all you need do is to support and encourage. My friend just found out that she has lung cancer. Quit cold turkey. It will do so. Nothing else did. I started smoking at age 15 and eventually stop me at age 57 (last year) when I was at a pack a day. Even tho 'all the experts say you have to go cold turkey, I think that just increases the desire. This is how I did it. Every time I wanted a cigarette, I smoke half. So I immediately cut my intake in half. After a few weeks to do that (give your body time to adjust to less nicotine), I'd just four trains, post it and keep it until the next request. After a few weeks ago I went on two trains, a train (with a cigarette I can hold one or two days). My body gradually get used to doing without nicotine, and I'm at a point where I said. "If the package is clear, I do not want to buy" It was a year ago. Good luck, you can not convince, but you can support this is all you need do is to support and encourage.
